What a great day!! I feel super blessed to have my great friends and family come share a very special day with Bronc and I. We are very thankful for all the thoughtful and wonderful gifts that we received! It will all come in very handy pretty soon!! Thanks again for everything! This is Linda and Katie. Katie was very generous to offer her home for the shower! Thank goodness, we needed the room! The yum yums. What great snacks!!

I really enjoyed this special day and Thanks to everyone for sharing it with Bronc and I. This picture is for my Mom. She thought she was being sneaky and getting a picture of me letting it all hang out. She thought it was funny. Well, what can a preggo girl do but just let it all hang out anyways! No choice in the matter!!

Baby Bronc

Today was my 2nd "official ultrasound". Here are a few pictures of our baby boy!! He weighed approxmiately 5 pounds 6 oz. already!! Wow, they said he could be 7.5lbs or more by the time he was born. Big Baby Boy!! These are 4D pictures, he was stubborn again and had his hands in the way. You might be able to make out his face on these if you look hard. The Dr. told me that his right kidney was a little distended, it's called hydronephrosis. It is very common in boys. His kidney measured 8mm and had it been 1cm they would have been more concerned. They say most likely it will resolve itself when he is born. So send us a few prayers to help Bronc's kidney. I have to go back for a follow-up ultrasound in a month to see if his kidney has changed any.

I am having a hard time figuring out who he looks like, it is hard to tell because the pictures aren't that great. He almost looks like my nephew Caden in ways. I don't know, you tell me!! Can't wait to meet and see him!!

6-wheeling Redneck Fun

What can I say?? We recently invested in a 6-wheeler, thanks to Wes and Rachelle!! That is probably the most handy piece of equipment we have ever bought. We feed horses out of it, haul the welder behind it, haul trash and junk and even play with it!! Of course my near 32 year old husband and Cory had to put it to good use in the snow. It was fun watching.. Here are a few pictures of our 6-wheeling redneck fun in the snow yesterday. I suggested that the guys put on some ski pants, just for added warmth and so their jeans wouldn't get so wet and cold. Ivy luvs riding in the back of the 6-wheeler. And we're off, Cory was driving and Ivy and I were in the back of the 6-wheeler. I had to get out at one point when Tyler was driving. That boy is crazy, I thought I better get out... Me and the little man on board was sccaarreddd. Plus, what if Tyler dumped us over, that wouldn't have been a good thing with a bun still in the oven!!

Meanwhile back at the ranch... While the guys were risking their lives, I deceided to snap up some cool pictures. This picture I took through an old dead mesquite tree, in the background is our place.

Here is picture of our place, I was about 3/4 of a mile from the house.

This little girl is so funny, she is a low to the ground kind of dog, with short legs and all. She was attempting to go across the ditch, which had about 4 foot of snow in it due to the drifts. She sunk and got high-centered and was like, Mama, HELP!!! She was stuck but she made it over!

All in all it was a fun morning. Tyler ended up crashing really bad and hit his head, his left knee and lower back hard on the side of the frozen ditch. Needless to say he is pretty sore and his back is swollen in the bend, but got right back on that dang tube after that crash. The price of fun and crazy fun at that!!

Snow Days

Well, most of you heard that the Texas Panhandle got slammed again with winter weather. I love it, I could be such a mountain girl. I just love snow and any activity that has to do with it. But, I live in the flatlands so I will just have to dream and visit the mountains as much as possible. Due to my pregnancy I can't ski this year :( My best bud Linda is skiing it up without me at this very moment, I am jealous!! Of course it is worth it, we will get our little man soon!! 9 weeks to go!!! The sun was setting and I happened to look out the back door and how beautiful. These pictures don't do justice at all. That is the CRP pasture just west of our house, it was perrty!!

My silly dogs were so happy that I came outside, so I thought they needed their picture taken too!! Pepto was happy for a picture and Ivy was like, yeah whatever Mom, you take enough of me as it is. She wouldn't even look at me. Silly girl... Ivy spent alot of time with me yesterday in the casa. I have a yucky cold and I just took it easy yesterday afternoon. Ivy was a snuggle-bug and I think she knew I didn't feel good. She is the best dog ever. I just love my Sugarplum!!

Attack of The Styrofoam

Oh my goodness..........it is the attack of styrofoam. Just had to note how much I am not liking this stuff. I got new furniture for my office/guest bedroom. The furniture company packaged my stuff really great. Although, every piece had a gigantous amount of styrofoam around it, not to mention a huge amount of cardborad too. It's everywhere, everywhere and everywhere.... carpet, my clothes, my socks, my hair, sticking to the walls, on the other furniture, oh and not to metion my dog Ivy even had some stuck on her. It is literally driving me bonkers seeing it everywhere. Just thought I would mention again how much I am not liking STYROFOAM!!! Well, I better go attack it with the good ol' rainbow vacumn cleaner, and then I might be a little less bonkers!!
