A Vegas Getaway

Tyler and I took a trip to Las Vegas in mid December.  We got to on the house thanks to our Vet Supply that we do business with.  We both had not been anywhere together as a couple in four years.  Minus the kiddos of course.  Needless to say we were in need of some one on one time.  Not that I don't love those boys of ours.  People just need time to reconnect with their spouses on occasion.  We had the best time.  Enjoyed one another, got to see the NFR live for the first time, made new friendships and made some fun memories. Here are a few pictures of our trip!

My luggage man.  He just loves the polka dot bags I take on flights.  I can always spot my luggage!

Touring the streets

We went to Tournament of the Knights.  I loved it and Tyler thought it was cheesy.  Most likely because they wanted the crowd to participate through the entire show.  Lol

We went down to the old strip our last night there.  That part of Vegas is the best.  It was beautiful and the light show was amazing.  Tons of interesting people as well.
Light show.  This was on the ceiling.  They played loud music to it as it changed pictures and such.
Alan and Carlos from the hangover.  He wanted money from me after I took his picture.
Tyler's cousin Riley and Tori where on the trip as well.  They joined us for the show we went to.  We all got our kiddos helmets to wear.
Flying home over the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
I can't wait to go this year!!  It will be here before we know it.

The Time Has Come

Yes!!! New carpet was installed in the house this past Monday! This means we can finally move after 2 years and 4 months.  Tyler's Mom got moved this past weekend while we were gone to Vegas. I have been counting the days literally. We are so excited to be moved and settled.  Moving is happening this weekend.  Not really the best time of year.  But I will take it.

Fall Happenings

Here are several Pictures of what we have been up to this fall.

We had a foot of snow a few days before Thanksgiving.  It was pure white bliss.  Loved it!!

Cowboy Santa dancing for Bronc
Silly boy
Broncs "airplane on wheels"
He said I built it with "noculars"
Oh my goodness.  This melted my heart when I saw them.  Right after there warm morning bath they both sat down in the morning sunshine and were enjoying some book time.  Sweet boys.

That's all my decorating for this Holiday season.

WRCA Finals

2013 WRCA was another win to record in the record books.  Sandhill Cattle Co came out on top for their third world championship.  I enjoyed most of our time in Amarillo minus Tucker's nightly screaming fits during the National Anthem.  That child has a mind of his own that's for sure!!

Isn't he so precious though!!

This 35 year old man came to ride.  Tyler won the first round of bronc riding and ended up Reserve Champ in the average.  He still has it in him.  I was impressed! He is now talking about trying out Saddle bronc in the other rodeo world.  We will see.
Oh my how I love these boys including Tyler.  Yes, he will forever be young at heart.
That's what I'm talking about.
We played with the Happy Toys.  I ended up with two very mad little boys when we had to leave.  I guess I can't blame them.
Our buddy Kail and Bronc
Winners!!
We ended up with the Bronze thanks to a perfect coin toss.  We were pleased.  We never get stuff like that! Very much appreciated!
Until next year!! Maybe we will make a return for 2014.

Tyler has been so busy.  Dark to dark.  We don't see much of him unless we go to the yard.  He works hard and I am so appreciative of him.  Best work ethic and role model to our boys.  Thank the good Lord for Tyler, cattle on wheat and in the yard.
