Pumpkin Time

We took Bronc and Tucker to the Pumpkin Patch near Floydada to pick out some pumpkins.  Bronc had fun and Tucker was just along for the ride!! LOL!

Tucker wouldn't sit up for us and the sun was right in his face!!

My Blog

I am trying to update my blog as you can see.  I have posted a record number today!  I started this blog in 2010 when I became pregnant with Bronc.  I wanted a way to remember our years and memories.  Time flies and I tend to forget a number of things as I grow older!!

I found a company that will print your blog in a book form!  So after December of last year, I printed two years of my blog into a book.  It was 197 pages of my entire blog with pictures and all.

I plan to print it yearly now.  Y'all should check it out, it is a great way to cherish your blog and memories in a book!!

Happy Blogging

A recipe

I have a wicked sweet tooth...I mean wicked....It literally will take over my ability to think straight when I need a sugar fix.  I guess it is kinda like an addiction such as snuff or drinking.
My sis-in-law is studying nutrition and she told me that sugar is comparable to the addiction heroin.  Good grief... At least mine is sugar and not dope.  I try and try to fight it but it wins.  So I have been trying to find some form of a healthy sweet snack.
I found it.  These are so yummy.  My only problem now is that I want to eat more than one, two, three...etc!!  :)
What a wholesome treat rolled into a ball.  And yes I spelled Bal wrong on purpose on my recipe card!!
This is a must try.  I will keep these on hand from now on.
I used Dark Chocolate Chips and Chunky PB (smart balance - it is so good), my (old oats) is old fashioned oats.
YOUR WELCOME SWEET LOVERS

Photo that makes me smile :)

I LOVE FALL...AMEN

Barcode

We went to Jennison's First Birthday and what a unique party it was!!  She had a young zebra named Barcode for the main attraction!!  It was really neat!! She smelled funny though!  I like the smell of horses much better!

Bronc fell asleep on the way there so he wasn't very awake for his time to ride Barcode.  We forgot shoes as usual, this has become a regular occurance.  I put him in the car without shoes because he always puts his feet on the back of the seats.  So that is why he is without shoes.

Another Project

I am trying to spruce up our new patio that is between Linda and our home's.  I decided it needed a cedar post fence around it.  So I started to dig post holes yesterday.  Whew is all I gotta say!!!  That is quite an upper body workout.  I also have noticed that my body doesn't have that great 20 year old something feel to it anymore.  My hands are feeling a bit old today.  I can't hardly grip anything and my fingers and wrists are achy.  I also realized that I have "Sissy" hands now.  I used to have hands that wouldn't blister so easy.  LOL!!  I dug 10 holes yesterday off and on between taking care of the kiddos.  I still have to go back and dig a foot deeper according to the husband..my posts are taller than me.  So I have much more to do on the digging end.

Bronc started out the day with pants on and ended up with nothing on under that shirt!!
He's making mud pies!

Great day outdoors and more to come at that!!

Bullseye

Meet Bullseye!!  She was named after Bullseye on Toy Story.  This is Bronc and Tucker's new pony.  We have Nacho for Bronc, but Nacho is a bit to much for him at this age.  So we are starting smaller!!  She is the sweetest pony.  Perfect for Bronc.  He can crawl all over her, lead her around, pet on her, you name it.
She was a bit under fed and loved on, so we are working on fattening her up and making her happy!!

We still are in the process of getting Pony Accessories!! LOL!
We need a cinch, bit, headstall and pad that fit her.
We are making do just fine until then.

I love this picture, OMG!!!
I think it will become a printed something in our home!!

Fall Is Upon Us

I love Fall....I just can't get enough of it!  I really am a cool weather gal.  Not to mention I love cold weather as well.  There is something about the cool crisp air and the feel of colder days to come that I just love.
I love getting bundled up and staying warm with all my layers and still getting to enjoy the outdoors amongst the coolness.
I have been staying busy with outdoor projects.  I am trying to complete to much before I go back to work!!
I won't ever get it all done.  But that is the best part, I love my projects, especially when it comes to the outdoor ones.

Fixing to enjoy a cool night with Family!!

Rachelle came for a visit, due to a cousin getting married.  So we got to enjoy her company.  We had a Bratwurst and Smores Roast.  It was delish, not to mention unfriendly for the arteries and figure.

Broncers all bundled up enjoying our time outdoors!!

Look at all my wildflower babies coming up!!  I sowed for the fall that way they will lay dormant through the winter and come up again in the spring!!

These are the pumpkins Bronc picked out at the
Floydada Pumpkin Patch.

Alot of my flowers got a bit grumpy about our first frost the other night.  I took this picture the day before.
