Colorado Part 2

Here are some pictures of our adventures while we played in Colorful Colorado. We did get to see some colors, the trees were really pretty. Oranges, yellows and some reds!! Here is Bronc and I at one of Rachelle's favorite coffee shops. I can honestly say I am a big fan of Pumpkins Spice Latte's now!! And I am not much on coffee!! We stopped by Barnes and Noble because Bronc loves books!! Auntie Shel wanted to buy Broncy some books so we let him pick out his favorite!
Having a good ol' time in the book store!!
We were lucky enough that Rachelle's birthday fell on one of the days that we were in Colorado!! We went to eat Mexican food in Old downtown Fort Collins. It was yummy!!
Bronc and Auntie Shel posing in front of the beautiful roses that Wes bought for Rachelle's Birthday!!
Off to the mountains we go!! I had to have my mountain fix as usual!! We went to a town west of Denver, Idaho Springs, to hang out and because Bronc and I were going to go spend a few days with my brother in Colorado Springs. My bro met us later that day back in Denver to pick us up.
Here is a mini waterfall that was somewhat frozen.
This big ol' pumpkin was an old water wheel, pretty cool!! Wonder if they decorate it for every holiday??
Bronc Baby sporting his warm gear!

We ate brunch with Wes and Rachelle on the last day that Bronc and I were gonna be with them. Linda stayed and I went on to my brothers! Loving us some fresh mountain air!!

This picture is for Linda my best bud, I had to rub it in a bit that I was up in the mountains and not to mention snow!!
Awww!!! I luv snow!
This is Echo Lake, it was frozen!! The drive up to Mount Evans is the longest paved mountain road in the U.S. They have it closed because of the seasons. We were able to drive about half way up to this lake!
Brrrrrrr!!!
Beautiful Mountains!! So refreshing!!
Auntie Shel, Bronc and Grammy Rice
Of course we had to let Bronc have his first taste and touch of snow!! He really thought it was pretty COOL!!
Not to bad!!

Next stop Colorado Springs!!

Colorado Vacay!!

I was in much need of a break from all the moving and all of that stress!! So Linda, Bronc and I decided to go to Colorado for 8 days!! Here is a picture of Linda, Bronc and I at the airport. YES!! We flew with Baby Bronc!! He did great there and back, he was awake for a bit and then slept the rest of the way. On our flight home we were waiting to get off the plane, well they were playing Amarillo by Morning on the plane, Bronc was enjoying the music and just visiting with all the people around us. He's a funny little guy!!Here is Bronc and Auntie Shel during Bath time!! Autine Shel loves her some Bronc Baby!!
Cuteness!!!
Grammy and Bronc after breakfast, note Bronc is all relaxed on the table. He put himself like this.
Chilling with Auntie Shel in the office.
Momma and Bronc relaxing on the couch!!
One of my all time favorite pictures!! Look at those precious brown eyes!!
Bronc was helping Auntie Shel fold laundry!!He got to ride in the laundry basket to help deliver the laundry!! Im gonna get you!!
Bronc was pretty much fascinated with the trash can, it is very similiar to the one in our office at home and he loves it!! He wasted alot of time with Rachelles trash can, which allowed me to watch the Rangers game or work a little for Wes and Rachelle! All dumped out and sorting the trash!!
No mom, he didn't eat any!! He really just sorted through every piece and then played with the trash can!
Here is Uncle Wes scooting Bronc around on his palatte that we made for him to play on.
Working on the crawling, just about got it down!!

Fall Works

Fall works began about two and a half weeks ago. For those of you that don't know what that is I will tell ya. The guys go out on the wagon from camp to camp with the remuda (saddle horses), tee-pees and rough it until they get done. They have a cook that cooks under the fly with this wagon here. He cooks with dutch ovens like old style!! They basically are gathering the Mamma Cows and weaning their babies off of them. They vaccinate and de-worm and then turn the cows back out. In the spring this will happen again, but it will be to brand the new babies. And history repeats itself. This is the fly where the cowboys gather around and eat their meals and shoot the bull.
Bronc and Daddy
Uncle Tell, Tyler and Bronc and Tom.
Here is Tyler in the lead trotting the remuda to the last camp for the fall works. And let me tell ya, the guys are so glad to be done with the wagon. Can you imagine not getting to shower on a regular basis??
The horses passing through Dumont.
All the colors!

This was kinda funny. There was a stop sign on the right and Tyler was telling the horses to stop. Go figure...
Bringing the remuda to Camp Hollar Pens.
Getting Closer.
Tyler and Charcoal
They Made It!!
Pretty blue sky and all the pretty horses!
Until next time!

Bronc's got a Girlfriend

Here is another awesome sunset from my front door. Even though we are not living in the flatlands of the Texas Panhandle anymore, we still have pretty sunrises and sunsets here at the rancho.Meet Lottie, this is Bronc's girlfriend. I know, I know he is a little young to have a near 18 year old for his girl, but he has loved Lottie since he set eyes on her 5 months ago. He flirts, stares at her, pretty much what a man in awe would do over Hottie Lottie. Way to go Bronc!!
Look at this handsome young fella!! He is getting ready to go to the Tom Butler Memorial Bronc Riding in Post!! Just need our jeans and we are set!! I love his sweet smile!
Oops... So I was in the office the other day and Bronc was in the floor. He was being fussy so I handed him a pen. Well next thing I know, I turn around and he had clicked the pen open and was flopping it around, chewing on it, you name it. The ink tells the rest of the story. Am I a bad Mamma?? Nah, it made him content and I had to get some stuff done!!
Bronc with his ink markings!! What a brown bean he is, he was blessed with beautiful skin!

Fall Days

Here is Bronc Sporting Daddy's cap!! Who does he look like here?? What a cutie patootieeeeee!! Bronc just had his 6 month Birthday yesterday!! We didn't do a cake because this little fella still enjoys his milk jugs. I have been trying to get him to eat baby food, but he has gotten where he clamps down his gums together and won't even let me put the spoon in his mouth. Little TOOT!! I finally got the pleasure of helping the guys the other day. It was fun. Tell and I gathered weanlings while Tyler and Bronc drove around caking the cattle. Bronc did so good, note he still has his jammies on. We got up early and it was chilly so he just helped in his P.J's!! Tell was giving Bronc the bunny ears. Always has to be goofy....

Enjoying our cool morning a horseback!

Fall works start Tuesday and the guys have been super busy cutting firewood and getting everything ready. Here is Tom driving the wagon to the China pens to set up camp for next week.

Really loving this cool weather we have been having!! It gets me in the mood for fall and all the festivities yet to come. Bronc, Grandma Rice and I will be setting out for a Colorado adventure the end of the month. We are flying to see Wes and Rachelle, so I will have to let you know how Bronc does on the plane. I hope he isn't the child that makes headline news about screaming the whole time and then getting kicked off the plane! Ha!! Hopefully that won't be the case!! The Tom Butler Memorial Bronc Riding is just around the corner, really excited for that!! Until next time........
