This is my great friend Linda. We took a trip down the the Ft. Davis mountains for a women's church retreat. It was beautiful there and refreshing for the soul.
The cabin we stayed in.
Mitre Peak
A chuck wagon cooked up delicious meals for everyone.
Bullet dog, Bronc and Skye
We decided to homeschool. It just seemed like what we needed. There have been some rocky days but get through them and learn from them. Bronc has really started to enjoy it!
Tuckered out Tuck aka Spider-Man
I spruced up this flower bed with some perennials. Hopefully they make it through the winter.
Last of the fall days and playing in the water.
Fun homeschool trip to the National Ranching Heritage Center. The kids learned how to solve a crime with the help of a Texas Ranger.
Long reins and good ol Rusty.
We made fossils for a science project.
Snacks outside with the dogs waiting for a crumb to fall.
Field trip day to a fun farm.
Bronc and his swing he made. Of course Tucker had to be the guinea pig.
Practicing his shooting.
This day was quite chilly. We went for a walk and found every mud hole on our way. Needless to say the boys were cold and muddy when we got back home.
Visiting Daddy at the Feedyard. Bronc has his hard hat on with fireman coat. Silly boy.
This sums up Tucker. He has a very comical side to him.
Happy Halloween
Cookies and pumpkin carving contest
Feedyard shenanigans.

We went to visit my good friend Pam recently. They always are so gracious to let us bring home firewood for the winter months!!
Will entertaining the boys.
Tyler and Frenchie doctoring cattle on wheat. I can't believe it is that time of year already.
Cousins
Skye is ready for the winter!!
First fire of the season.
Thank goodness for the warm fire. We lost power for an entire day due to the ice storms. Some of our neighbors were out for more than two days.
