Fall Happenings

Fall arrived quickly here this year.  I love cool weather!!

This is my great friend Linda.  We took a trip down the the Ft. Davis mountains for a women's church retreat.  It was beautiful there and refreshing for the soul.

We decided to homeschool.  It just seemed like what we needed. There have been some rocky days but get through them and learn from them.  Bronc has really started to enjoy it!

I spruced up this flower bed with some perennials.  Hopefully they make it through the winter.

Fun homeschool trip to the National Ranching Heritage Center. The kids learned how to solve a crime with the help of a Texas Ranger.

This day was quite chilly.  We went for a walk and found every mud hole on our way.  Needless to say the boys were cold and muddy when we got back home.

We went to visit my good friend Pam recently. They always are so gracious to let us bring home firewood for the winter months!!

First fire of the season.  

Thank goodness for the warm fire.  We lost power for an entire day due to the ice storms.  Some of our neighbors were out for more than two days.  

That is a wrap on Fall.  Winter has arrived, will see what it has in store for us.
